Happy Saturday, everyone! Choppy and I started the day with a beautiful three mile walk, so blame that (and sleeping in) for the late arrival of today’s April A to Z Challenge post. On the plus side, I got some excellent potential Where’s Choppy? posts, so the belated posting will ultimately serve everyone well.

Love this, don’t know how you have managed to make Schooner a model.

I don’t know either – he’s still not the greatest model. We’ll get him there, though!

Awww these two are so precious, even when dressed up as trash 😋

Poop factory to squirrel to trash – what is next for Schooner and Choppy? 🙂

haha How did you ever get Choppy to wear that bag? 🙂
But I guess it was one of your easier Schooner posts, as cats generally love being in boxes? 🙂

Getting Choppy to wear the bag was easy – and once the cat stopped fighting to stay out of the trash can, he enjoyed it. Still easier to put the bag on Choppy, though!

He did well! There was quite a bit of effort required to get him in there in the first place. Once in there, though, he was happy!

I’m getting repetitive, but this one was definitely another laugh. It’s Choppy’s face that kills me every single time. Also I think she thinks she’s getting paid for this gig in garbage.

Oh, she would love a gig that paid in garbage – the stinkier, the better!

Thank you! And he’s quite good at hiding. Particularly when we are looking for him!

Glad you’re not throwing them out in the trash! Adorable. Hugs and fuss to both, Sarah.

Not yet, anyway – though the cat does give me reason to think it wouldn’t be the worst idea on occasion!

I’m sure you don’t mean that!

I hope she didn’t get taken out and put in the rubbish bin outside lol

No, though depending on what was inside, Choppy might not think that was the worst idea ever!

Schooner looks very comfortable in the round filing cabinet

He does, doesn’t he? He also attempts to get in to the regular one, so perhaps he is trying to tell us something (quite possibly that there are many things in there we could give him instead of throwing out – he and Choppy likely agree on that!).

I should really do a “Where’s Schooner?” post during the week to go with “Where’s Choppy?” – this may have to happen sooner rather than later!

The second image, with Schooner in the bin, puts me in mind of my Jack-in-the-box picture (here). It also reminds me of an incident with my youngest and out cat, Gizmo, some years ago. I had managed to persuade Gizmo into a shopping bag and handed the bag to my daughter. She saw Gizmo inside and immediately released her. I looked at her and said (are you sure you’re ready for this?), “Trust you to let the cat out of the bag!”
Yeah, I know. You had to be there.

Oh, I don’t think you had to be there – but you do have to enjoy word play in all its (sometimes groan-inducing) forms!

I think schooner got the easier “costume” for this one.

At this point, he gets the easier costume for all of them (though today, neither of them had to work hard, as you will see a bit later).

This is another good one. Don’t think Tippy would stand for a bag being put over her head. LOL

The giant hole is helpful – not quite as bad as just a bag. That said, Choppy is much better than most dogs when it comes to having things put on/over her head.

I really haven’t tried anything over Tippy’s head, so I don’t know for sure. Just going by her temperament, I doubt it would work out very well. LOL You’re lucky that Choppy is so patient and doesn’t seem to care about much, except for Schooner’s antics, of course.

Dear PETA,
I believe I know an animal owner you might want to visit. I know she loves Choppy and Schooner, but I think her most recent pictures is preparing them to pose as homeless pets tugging on the emotions of those passing by to offer money. I have already contacted the IRS to make sure these contributions are counted as income on her tax returns. Please be gentle with the owner. Who knows what she will dress these little guys in. I believe she might be near a breaking point.
First, the above note was totally written as a joke. I have thoroughly enjoyed the alphabet adventures of Choppy and Schooner.

Ha! Love it! And I don’t think our street is busy enough to use these two as a second source of income in this manner. Now, if we move to the city, you may have to worry…

It took me a long time to hit the “send” button with this comment. I wanted to make certain you knew I was joking and often humor gets lost in written communication. Your response was perfect. Looking forward to many future adventures with you and the gang!
