I felt so bad for her at the Humane Society. The other small puppies all had litter mates with them, but Choppy was all on her own (she’d already been to one home since leaving her mother – I was her second home).

You think that because you just look at the pictures. You missed the chewing up of shoes and bad behavior that came with that cuteness. She was a sweetie…until you saw that you no longer had a flip flop to walk her in.

They are a lot of work – I only need to be around one for a few minutes before I am like, ‘Yeah. Glad we are done with that. Cuteness only goes so far.’
