No one is ever going to mistake Choppy for a circus dog; while she has a number of tricks in her repertoire, it is probably better described as a “limited number of tricks.” And she’s not always the greatest at performing even that limited number of tricks, as the two very short videos below illustrate.
First up, a video of Choppy demonstrating her catching abilities:

Yep…just like our dog. She’ll catch it when she feels like it. Otherwise, she just watches it sail overhead!

I wonder what they are thinking – there seems to be no rhyme or reason to it with Choppy!

Choppy usually will fetch something a couple times, then seem to look around and wonder why in the world we keep insisting on throwing her toy away. It’s at that point when she stops playing fetch.

Funny. Choppy is telling you, enough is enough. Smart dog, don’t even try to catch it and you will not throw it anymore. I have had several dogs just like Choppy. Very cute.

It is her typical method of dealing with her desire to stop fetching or catching!
