Things around here are getting back to a new normal. Just so you know, my weekend plans include responding to your comments over the last couple weeks and to start to get posts going again here.
As for the walks, Choppy would have loved them this week – I have been taking longer ones in the morning, thanks to the warmer weather. Spring is definitely here (so long as you ignore those snowflakes in the air on Sunday) – the ponds are full of ducklings and goslings. It’s a wonderful time of the year to walk around here.

Choppy sure got to enjoy herself, with you, on her walks. I’m glad you are getting out for walks, especially with the nice weather, Sarah, it’s a great ‘hobby.’

Walks help maneuver the up and down maize of grief. Sometimes those bends in the road trigger an extra special memory. Enjoy the spring-like weather while you recall those tender memories.

That’s the spirit! There is so much to appreciate “out there”, including those wonderful memories. Choppy would surely want you to keep going on those walks, and remembering her the way you do. Keep it up Sarah. 🙂

If you need a bit of distraction, I suggest you take Schooner on your walks – on a leash, in a stroller, or in a back/front pack or sling. That would certainly be different (snicker)!

He does have a stroller – I am not sure he would be up for a few miles. We would have to start small.

I’m not sure it would work, but 🤷🏻♀️maybe worth a thought.

Glad you are getting out in the spring weather – other than that cold blast, it has been idyllic. I like to imagine Choppy’s spirit walking right along with you. ❤
