Thanks for your balanced point of view in Cats v. Dogs. Sigh. Shelters also have rabbits, rats, and lately, lots of chickens. Last time I went, the rooster crowing was a loud and clear! Encouraging your readers to think of them, too.

I’m all for shelter pets of any kind (sits carefully on fence) rather than encouraging irresponsible breeding, puppy farms and the like.

Any adoption is a rebirth, a new beginning, liberation from the shelter.
A Home and a Family.
Please adopt something.
There are so many animals without homes we would all need to adopt five animals for them all to be free.
