Here are a few reasons cats should be allowed on tables….First of all: he has a perfect vantage point. Also: no one will trip over him or step on him….like maybe Choppy. Sometimes it’s fun to do something you’re not supposed to do, shake things up a bit. The table is a much better place to sprawl out….window sills are too narrow. If someone brings an appetizer, with let’s say 🥓 🥓 in it, he’s right there to share. He can test if gravity is working correctly, by batting something off the table, he’ll try to not use something breakable. If you want to pat him….you can just lean forward…not bend down.
