A tired pup is a happy pup – with this heat, she gets tired out quickly. Our afternoon walks are not as long as either of us wishes they could be because of it.

Sweet Choppy looks great and all that green is beautiful. The green here is turning brown from lack of rain. Nose kisses for her from us and hugs for you sweet Sarah.

We’re getting plenty of rain – we’re still paying the lawn mowers to show up weekly, with no end in sight!

Just a quick question…with all the miles walked by Choppy, does it wear out her paw pads? I have seen some dogs here wearing shoes!!

Nope – the only reason we would need booties for her is the cold and salt in the winter. She doesn’t have any issues otherwise.

Thanks for the share. As we do not have seasons here, I wondered about your neck of the woods with seasons. Here our pet owners doll their fur babies like kids. Some are in prams believe it or not!

I hate to admit it, but if I had a little dog, I would probably have a pram for it…oh, wait. We actually DO have one, for Schooner!

Choppy is loving her walks. Tippy gets tired out a lot sooner in the summer too. She’s pretty content at just laying by the AC vent. LOL

Yesterday we took a nice long walk – we definitely brought water and took a couple breaks for Choppy.
