This post gets us officially caught up on the Dog Walk Challenge posts after all our recent travels. I do love walking when on vacation, but it’s nice to get back to our normal paths, friends, and sights here at home, too. Plus, I don’t have to worry about getting lost while out and about!

I really admire you because of those walks! Maybe – no, not “maybe” but surely – I need to get my lazy butt up and going, too. 😀

Hey, you have your bike rides – I couldn’t do half of what you do on those!

Oh well, it looks like more than I really do. The first ride on our recent trip, the Chief Ladiga Trail, was my first bicycle ride since last November, and I haven’t done any ride yet since we came back.

This is probably not the time of year to be doing long rides in Texas – as awful as I would be at them normally, the heat would kill me!

I’m using the heat as an excuse, of course. 😉 The early morning are still fine, but I’m not a morning person at all.

Looks like you did a lot of driving last week. Great walks. Wish I could make myself walk when I travel, but I don’t.

There are definitely some mornings where it would be easier to stay in bed on vacation! I’ve had a couple of 3-4 AM walks on days we’re on the road. Those are killer.

😮😮😮😮🤭 you get yourself up to walk that early? 👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Definitely not normally! A couple times we have had early flights, and I like to get my walk in so I don’t think about it the rest of the day until it happens (and thus torture Paul with my anxiousness about getting it in). At home, we’re up at about 5 and on the walk around 5:40.

I can only imagine, ’cause I can’t ever see me doing that. LOL

Counting all the miles you walk, one day you may have effectively walked the distance to Singapore😉

According to the Internet, it’s 9,283 miles between here and there. We have about 1,700 so far – just a few more years to go!

It’s getting close – I’m looking forward to Day 1,000 already (though we have some miles to put behind us first).

Way too go Choppy. Will have to take you for a run along Bayshore Blvd in Tampa when I bicycle. Lots of doggies here love that route!

You might have to take her for a walk – Choppy might keel over if she had to do a run!
