And this is Choppy wondering if I will ever get tired of balancing food on her head and nose. Unfortunately for Choppy, I don’t see that day coming any time soon.

If they fell, they’d be chips off the old, Choppy!

I hope Choppy didn’t eat the chips, chocolate is bad for her. ❤ (It may be bad for us, too, but it doesn't stop us. 😉 )

I doubt it will ever stop me – life is better with chocolate in it!

Agreed! Esp. dark chocolate. 😉

My afternoon work treat is almost always a bit of dark chocolate – it is an excellent pickup!

The perfect portrait of ‘long suffering’ … fortunately we all have much evidence that Choppy is one happy pup so I, for one, am not fooled by those doleful eyes!

For a dog who has such a good life, Choppy certainly feels sorry for herself a lot of the time!

Artful at the soulful, I would say 😀

Ok, that balancing act is just plain cruel. Who can wear chips and not eat them?

Choppy! (Plus, she has the promise of other treats, so it’s not too bad for her.)

I will happily balance chocolate on my head if it means I get to eat it.

My dog would eat them and I can’t have that!

Choppy is far more interested in getting a dog treat than anything (though I’m not going to worry if she gets a few chocolate chips).

I am sure 3 choc chips can’t be all that bad? Anyway aren’t they proper doggy-chocs? She deserves a little treat for putting up with you sticking stuff on her head 😀

She deserves more than a little treat for all the things I make her balance!

You are so patient Choppy. What will you be balancing tomorrow?

Something healthy, it turns out!
Also in the realm of healthy, thanks for the advice on brining the salmon before using the sous vide. I tried it last night and it worked out great!

Fantastic on the salmon. I’m loving the sous vide salmon.

I will definitely be making it that way again. It was so easy and perfectly done.

I think Choppy should throw those chocolate chips into a cookie. Yum!

And if she can take care of baking them, I’ll be happy to eat some of them for her!

Poor Choppy! You sure do have a hard life. 😉 This looks like one of the easier things to balance, but not the easiest to have the patience to not accidentally drop them and eat them. She’s so good!

This was definitely easier than many a balancing act – nice and light!

Choppy does not look very happy. Maybe she doesn’t like chocolate chip cookies?

I think anything with sugar in it is something Choppy would like – I think it had more to do with a cat that was rubbing up against her when she was trying to balance these. Schooner was messing with her concentration!

This has to be the easiest item to balance compared to stuff Choppy has done before. Choppy does it just as well

Oh, this was definitely easy-peasy for Choppy!
