He’d probably be fine – till some massive Tom Cat decided to sort him out. 😦
My daughter’s house cat used to be terrorised by a large cat and went missing for a few days once. Since they moved house their cat has been Much happier. 🙂
Growing up, I think our cat was that massive Tom Cat who terrorized the other cats of the neighborhood. Poor Schooner would not have fared well against him (though he is a rather large cat himself).
Happy Day! Hope you shove some bacon 🥓 🥓 strips under the door, to feed your ‘prisoner’….Choppy…I sure hope Schooner doesn’t turn the tables & lock you up some day!
Choppy should worry – Schooner has the opening and shutting of doors down pat (seriously, that cat is going to lock someone in or out of the house someday – it will probably be me!).
Hah! That little paw under the door – too cute!

This is every morning while I do my makeup – except Schooner is trying to get into the room instead of out of it.

I’m sure that in Choppy’s eyes her gift is Priceless! 😀

The only better thing would be if Schooner was not just locked in a room, but locked outside!

Aw poor little moggy. He’s a house cat – wouldn’t he freak?

It’s a good question – he tries to get outside all the time, so I think he believes he is well-equipped for the great outdoors.

No worries – Schooner will make himself annoying enough that even Choppy will want to let him out.

That’s a big hint….maybe it should be a new pair of shoes to share with Ms Choppy….make that 2 pairs…then you can mix!

Shoes are like jewelry for the feet – I’m not going to object if that is what I get!

I sure hope Choppy didn’t clean the litter box as ‘thoughtful’ gift 😝😝

Hey, just so long as the next gift isn’t a doggie kiss, I’m happy to have anyone deal with the litter box!

I’m sure she feels that her gift is keeping Schooner behind closed doors for the night.

She should have done it last night – Schooner vomited all over the bed! Now, for the second time in three days, the sheets are all getting washed.

Oh, very yukky….better than stepping in it on your way to the bathroom!

I’m not sure Paul would agree – apparently his side of the bed was highly unpleasant after that little incident.

Next time, Choppy needs to work on getting an actual gift (though I’m not sure I trust her with my credit card).

My guess is that Schooner spent the day napping and didn’t really care. Happy mother’s day, Sarah!

That’s his typical day – being locked in somewhere probably wouldn’t change that!
