Haha, yes, this is about the extent that my dogs will entertain carrots. If I drop some peel or a piece of carrot while cooking, they dutifully retrieve it, and put it in their beds to love and protect, but they will not eat it. They are too smart.

She looks so serious – eating your veggies is serious business, fur sure!
Our Lab ate carrots, maybe because my toddlers were always dropping theirs. She wouldn’t touch green beans, though. 😉

Amazing balancing act, once again, Choppy! Tippy loves carrots. I use them as treats for her often. I’d be better off if I thought a carrot was a treat too. LOL

Mr. Darcy’s favorite thing in the world is carrots. As soon as I start peeling them in the kitchen, he’s sitting right next to me waiting for one to “accidentally” fall to the floor.

I’m not sure Mr. Darcy knows he could have dip with his carrots. I think I might keep that information from him.

What a talented little dog.
Her name should be preceded with “The Amazing” or followed by “The Magnificent”.
(I thought “The incredibly impressive dog that can balance multiple carrots ((and other things)) on her head” seemed a bit long.)

My dad always said Carrots (once eaten) are good for the eyes.
Guess that is not going to impress Choppy…she probably just wants those carrots just off her head and then she can get treats 🙂

I’ve heard that about carrots and eyes as well – I guess I should have eaten more as a kid, because my eyesight is terrible!
