We didn’t hit any milestones this week. Mostly, I just keep hoping that it warms up – every time I put away my winter coat, I hope it’s the last time I will have to wear it on a morning walk. And then I end up pulling it out again. I’d like to put it away for real!

I have one brave little crocus working on blooming while the other slowly come up. I’m thinking the flower will make its appearance tomorrow.

How awesome! We are nowhere near there – just our one, lone crocus.

You can say that again! And we’re not even getting the worst of it.

Shame Sarah, I really hope some warmer weather comes your way soon and stays!
You and Choppy going out each day for a walk is a massive accomplishment, especially dealing with your weather, so well done !

I will say, at least we’ve passed the worst of the weather. The morning walks are far more pleasant now than they were a month ago!

Now this is the kind of balancing act I like. Ah, open spaces! 🙂

You are lucky! The first of my crocuses is attempting to flower. It’s not doing a great job of it yet.

I agree. I wish I could put the winter coat away for good.

I’m hopeful we’re there now – I am ignoring those snowflakes in the forecast for late next week.

That looks like a great place for some squirrels and bunnies. You continue to do great and I’m sure the weather will warm up eventually.

It’s squirrel-central! Choppy seems to miss more of them than the bunnies. The woods must camouflage them better than the grass does for the bunnies.

Sarah,
I don’t even own a winter coat anymore. No need for it down here! Think warm and dream of those comfortable later spring/summer mornings. I am sure they will be there soon!

I’m jealous of your lack of a winter coat! I’m not brave enough to put mine away (after all, I just wore it on Monday morning for our walk).
