I believe Choppy is a minimalist at heart. The fewer the number of words that convey the message, the better! Schooner appears to be more analytical in his evaluation of Choppy’s message. That, or he’s attempting to avoid the intent altogether. 🙂
They both look so serious and Schooner does look rather like a critic giving his enlightened opinion. It’s hard to have character development in 12 words or less. LOL Before I saw the holiday, I was thinking World Fantasy Day, if there is such a thing. I was close.
Hahaha! I love Choppy’s determination…and Schooner’s sense of humor. 😃

At this point, I think Schooner realizes no one here is getting rid of him (unless Choppy figures out how to drive to the humane society).

Hehehehe….what a couple of (developed or otherwise) characters!

Characters is definitely a word to describe these two.

Followed by the sequel… Soon The Dog was Rehomed. (oh, did Schooner say that out loud?)

Ha! I like the brevity of these stories. I can get through many in a day.

Anxiously awaiting the sequel.
The world gone to the dogs.

The sequel will probably end with the dog getting a swipe to the nose.

Which ‘people’ would get rid of a cat?

One of us people would not have gotten the cat in the first place.

Choppy doesn’t want to waste anyone’s time. After all, she has important things to do – like write more stories.

Oh, it would be a good one for Fantasy Day. Choppy has many thoughts which would seem to work for that particular holiday.

Schooner does have to deal with a lot of bad things in Choppy’s stories.

Gee, Cboppy, I was hoping it would be about the day your family took you home! In any case, Schooner has a point….

We should re-write about that at some point – it was a good day (even if Choppy immediately had an accident in the car).
