I think today is supposed to be about who is naughty and who is nice around the house. Based on their Christmas lists, though, I think both of these two qualify for the naughty list.

They should get coal. But past history tells them even bad behavior will end with them getting plenty of treats and toys, so they really have no incentive to behave.

(deep sigh) Miss. Choppy… I believe you are a bad influence on poor Master Schooner. Master Schooner… It is my humble opinion that you should be careful what you wish for. You could end up with 2 dogs!

Can you imagine waking up on Christmas morning? Choppy is all excited. She knows there’s a big surprise for Schooner. The doorbell rings. Choppy opens the door, a huge dire wolf saunters in, sees Schooner, who just stars in defiance, then the dire wolf approaches and takes Schooner by the head and neck and walks out. Choppy is happy ever after…

Choppy & Schooner….be nice to each-other….it’s not that hard…and once you start being nice, it’s really easy to keep it up…then bacon 🥓 is a reward, not something you think you are entitled to 😁

I’m pretty sure he knows Santa won’t bring Choppy something that will eat him (in part because then someone writing this would have to take care of said something, and she already has two somethings who require a lot of her attention!).

Schooner does look rather like he is ready for flight, just in case said something shows up. Choppy, I think you should try to be nice for the next 21 days and you might just get the other “two” items on your list.

Schooner would likely get away from this particular gift (I mean, he does fit in small spaces and has a great ability to climb), and Choppy would then be in serious trouble.
