It’s rare when they don’t get what they want (within reason, of course – I’m not going to let them start eating all the food they think they should have).
schooner reminds me of my cat Mr Grey. He will bang on the black metal door with his body when he wants me to put the food out. Mr grey was born before the 50 shades book by the way.
Nicest cat i’ve ever met. He is feral but he brings me birds and rodents occasionally and he brings other cats over to eat and when the possums come he just gets up on the ledge and lets them eat and he likes to eat when I am on the porch having a cigarette.
It’s funny how they like to eat when people are around. Schooner’s food is in our basement, and if anyone goes down there, he runs down there to have a snack.
Choppy does look like she is about to starve to death – at least she thinks she is. Schooner has the perfect expression for demanding to be obeyed. I hope they did get some bacon after the photo shoot.
Really, is it asked too much? Hurry Sarah! 😂
And Schooner sounds very British in this one 😉 But maybe all cats are in a way, being snobbish and sophisticated 😉
Around the Ranch, that’d be Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Hope you fixed something tasty for those poor ‘starving’ fur-kids.
Well, well, well, finally they agree on something. 😉

They seem to be on the same page fairly often when it comes to food (so long as you don’t suggest giving the other one something to eat).

If we fed these two whenever they wanted to eat, they would be far larger pets!

I’m just far too slow for their tastes (and I give them far too little to eat as well, if you ask them).

Hope those 2 furry four-leggeds got what they wanted!

Opening a can is about as close as I get to cooking for my two. 😉

I think it counts as cooking. I mean, they couldn’t do it without you and it involves food. That’s pretty much cooking.

Isn’t that always the way? Animals… they’re only interested in what matters! How shallow can you get? 😀

I know! So, so shallow!

And we call them four-legged friends—unless you happen to be an agoraphobic with a goldfish for a pet. 😀

I never would have made the connection! Mr. Grey sounds like a character.

It’s amazing how much of the day Choppy spends thinking she is in imminent danger of starving to death.

There is no rest for us humans !!! Demand, demand, demand 🙂 One good thing though is this is one time that they are on the same page 🙂 🙂 🙂

At least I have that – I’m not getting separate demands from them for once!

I could see all of them having fancy British accents – dogs, probably not!
