I love that shot. Team choppy all the way. I just recently realized you must be a nautical enthusiast with names like choppy and schooner. For awhile i was thinking of the dog in stand by me.

They do seem to have nautical names, don’t they? Choppy is actually Tchoupitoulas, after a street in New Orleans. And Schooner is named after a bar in Key West. So I guess they’re both named after places highly associated with the water (and drinking – which also goes with sailors).

I’ve been trying to get a good video of Choppy with balloons for a while now – she LOVES them. It’s amazing she was sitting there because usually she just wants to play with the balloons. She doesn’t even mind when she pops one.

Celebrate every day, for sure. Choppy looks very happy about not wearing a sign or balancing something on her head, which as we know, takes great concentration. 😉

I tried balancing a balloon on her head last week. It turns out, more dry weather to get the necessary static electricity than we currently have.
