As happens so often around here, these two have missed the point of the day entirely and instead are using the day as an opportunity to insult each other.

He is always attempting to catch them. I can’t imagine they taste good. I would imagine they’re dry.

40% of a cat’s diet is insects, or so I’ve read, Schooner’s just doing it right Choppy, and I like you both equally! 🙂

Oh, that’s both gross and fascinating!

Lots of insects have lots of protein….they should start selling cans of Grasshoppers in thick gravy, minced….yuck…I can’t continue 😖😬😝

I’m just fine with people selling those things – so long as no one expects me to eat them!

Even when they are supposed to engage in positive thinking they get it wrong. Though no one is surprised.

Well, I can’t imagine a moth tastes great, maybe Schooner thinking it tastes like chicken is his positive thinking ! I mean that thing must have been gross !!!

I remember in Vietnam I really enjoyed deep fried crickets with bacon. It was a delicious dish. So crunchy and so tasty.

Something tells me the bacon had more to do with the deliciousness than the crickets!

No, it was definitely the crunch of the crickets. That said I was picking bits of leg and wing from between my teeth all night.

I am cringing just thinking of that!

My old cat loved to catch and eat insects. Until a wasp did sting her in the upper lip. After that she had been seriously ill for some days – and then she never tried to catch something that flew or crawled. 😉

Oh no! It sounds like she was OK at least.

Schooner is more negative and I feel that Choppy is only negative after Schooner throws the first “barb!” This is a cute photo.
How did Lynn find out about the moth!? I tried to figure this one out. 🌼
