Contrary to the belief of Choppy, I’m pretty sure today has nothing to do with Pringles, and everything to do with making sure your pets have been chipped and that you make sure the chip is still working and updated when you visit the vet.

Oh Schooner, you are the intelligent one 🙂 but come on, how about a pringle…..

I’m not sure you want one of those – they are some odd flavors.

No, not me, Schooner 🙂 🙂 🙂

I’m so paranoid about this – I make them check Choppy’s chip every time we’re at the vet.

👍🏻 Not paranoid, more like prudent.

I like that! Much better sounding!

Some days you will see Schooner geo targeting Choppy and surveil her with a drone. LOL

That would be Choppy’s nightmare!

I think they are at least friends by heart. A big dog and a small cat is OK. But a very small dog and a cat is the best for everlasting fights. 😉

We definitely have the big dog/small cat!

My beloved old cat used to love potatoe chips. 😉 She could be very intrusive when I’ve bought a pack of chips.

I’ve been around cats who love them, too – it must be all the salt!

Haha, Choppy, Pringles are NOT good for your health! 😉
Good reminder, I’ll have them check Wren on her next visit.

I very recently checked the ingredient content of Pringles…quite interesting…most people think they are made from potatoes…the OPPOSITE is true 😮☹️

Yep! Heads up Sarah, this stuff will kill ya! 😉

Yes! I didn’t see your comment before I posted a response – I was not aware of this fact until like, a year ago. There is a story behind this. I may be forced into telling it on the blog sooner rather than later.

No, they aren’t! And they aren’t even real potato chips (sometime, I need to tell the story on the blog of how I found this out for the first time…in my late-30s).

I want to hear about that!

After all that walking, Choppy can probably handle one or two Pringles. Hey, Schooner. I knew under that cool and calm demeanor, was a sharp and extremely intelligent cat brain.

It’s in there somewhere – I only wish it would appear more often (particularly when it comes to “learning the rules of the house”).

I think they’ll have a lot of other canines agreeing with them as well!

Over the pond here Pringles are crisps, and what you call fries are chips, bet Choppy would like ours best 😊

She actually seems to like your crisps better than your chips – but in reality, she’s not a big fan of either. Now, give her some Cheetos, and she is a happy camper!

I’m with Choppy. I want Pringles rather than being microchipped.

I am not sure what anyone would want with microchipping me, as they wouldn’t find out anything exciting if they were trying to track my movements. “Sarah is on the computer, again. Oh, she is doing something else…nevermind, she’s just on the phone now.”

People can find me with the Pringles 😂

When Barkley was a pup they had someone that would do a little tattoo on the dog by way of ID. Mom knew the person doing that. She called up, disguising her voice, inquired about getting the tat, and then said “Barkley wants on of Cher on his right butt cheek” Her friend laughed recognizing the voice. I have a chip, and Mom checks it regularly.

That is a hilarious story!
And Choppy has a tattoo – sadly, it is not Cher or anything nearly so exciting (and it would be funnier on her butt than on her ear!).

Cute. I have never thought to have Tippy’s chip checked. I just assumed since it was put in, it will always be there. I have never seen the “Loud” Pringles. Of course, I don’t shop for them often. I prefer Ruffles because they have ridges. 😉

They do move sometimes – I never knew it until I saw a program where they were taking dogs at a shelter to be euthanized, and at the last moment they wanded the dogs all over, and one of the dogs had a chip that was somehow in its back leg.
And your comment is going to have me wandering around saying R-R-Ruffles have R-R-Ridges.

So funny!! 😀 I’ll take some chips if they left any for company.
I think I won’t be able to catch up on all your posts but I made it back to 8/15.
Summer is so busy at the auto parts warehouse. hugs 💕

I’m so far behind on everyone’s – going on vacation doesn’t help, because I have so much to catch up on when I get back (or when I have a bit of free time, like I do today).

I’ll tell you what, I cannot believe how a day of going to our county fair and another day at the zoo just took so many hours of my measly amount I have of weekend time to blog. True friends understand. We both have jobs and busy lives!! Sympathy likes company. . . Life is fantastic and meant to be enjoyed. I’m glad you and Paul can vacation, my next one is going to Mississippi to stay at my college friend’s house and she is rather reclusive but the simple places she will choose to have us go and time well spent are priceless. . . xo

The time with friends really is precious – you don’t need to do anything big or fancy, just getting to see someone is wonderful, especially when it is someone you don’t get to spend too much time with.
