Another week of walks is in the books – we had walks a little out of the ordinary, as we started the week in Dubuque, Iowa on a bit of an anniversary trip, then ended the week on our way to Minneapolis, Minnesota to visit our nephew on his second birthday. I do enjoy getting out of the normal routine for the walks (and hopefully I’ll have a chance to post a few pics from each of the trips soon).

I do love it – we’ve got some more trips upcoming (some close to home, others not so close), which means plenty more fun walks in locations which aren’t normal for us.

Thank you! I have to get all the miles now, before winter hits and the last thing I want to do is brave the cold and snow!

You’re doing great! I wish I could force myself to exercise when I go out of town, but, I never seem to be able to.

Thanks! I think I’m just so used to the daily walks, I can’t help but take them elsewhere. Plus, now that I’ve been doing them for a while, I see the fun in them and getting to see at least part of a place from a slower pace than a car.

How ironic! I can reply to you, but can’t make a direct comment here via the app. It must be Schooner’s fault.
Choppy better check on him!

Hi Paulette! Apparently the post I thought didn’t go thru, actually did! How wacky is that? I saw Sarah’s reply to me, and was like huh, it did go thru. 🤔
Welp. Intermittent problems are the best… not. I haven’t noticed it happening on any other blog, yet.

I didn’t see yours in the spam filter – I will go check and make sure again tonight. WordPress is having one of its commenting hiccup, it seems.

Have you ever used the app?
So, what should happen is that I’ll type in the comment reply box, hit send and it will jump up to the comment box, spin wait while uploading, then it pops in place on your comments ‘list’.
Now it just bounces back into my reply box, not sticking in your comments list. It doesn’t spin wait, it’s bounces as I hit send back to reply box.
Ironic I could reply to someone in the comments list was odd.
Let me know if I am in spam, odd things happen! Gesh, I’ve only been a follower for about 3 years now 😉
I can’t remember if this has happened on other blog’s comments. I have been on the lookout since it was brought up.
This answer/ reply is another test. Did this comment come thru? As this is a comment reply, I’m typing from my notifications area, not on your blog post.
Who knows! It could be me! Although, I think she was using a computer and I’m in the app. I will keep track if I notice this again. And now that I know I can reply to someone on the comments list, I will let you know if it happens on any other posts. It does seem random, as I have commented on some of your posts, with no issues.
Ah, this kinda 💩 sure keeps things interesting 😝

It came through just fine on my end!
And there wasn’t anything in spam (at least that I remember!). So maybe it was just a temporary problem?

I saw some of your comments in the spam filter when I checked earlier – I’ve officially put “go through the spam filter” on this evening’s to do list. But I am glad to see posting seems to be working again!

You know, I don’t think I’ve ever read much of her stuff, yet it seems like something I would love. I need to remember to put some of it on hold at the library.

So! THIS is the comment that kept bouncing out! Ha!
So it seems that although it really didn’t look like it went thru (to me), it did. So, problem solved??
I read the biggie: life’s a bowl of cherries, why am I always in the pits. It has been a long time tho.

Another great week. Are those thistle seeds in the field? If so, the finches must be having a picnic!

It’s thistle (and finch) central through there!
