Ha! We do really use the term – it’s not our everyday term (for that, we use hot dog), but everyone would understand what you’re talking about if you say a wiener (though in another context, it means something entirely different and not-so-innocent – so there is lots of word play involving the term).
Things have gone downhill today. I eventually had to just go with separate pictures of the two of them for today’s Howliday post. As for tomorrow’s post, well, someone doesn’t even appear in it because he was being a pain.
Maybe they knew that if they ignored them for just a couple of minutes and got the photo shoot over, that they would be able to eat one without being yelled at. Pretty smart there, Choppy and Schooner. Cute picture.
God I LOVE this photo! xoxo

Thank you! I still can’t believe they didn’t try to eat the hot dogs.

Those sausages would be yummy if they were out of the bag 🙂

A hot dog was consumed by these two after the picture – no worries on that front!

They couldn’t smell them! 😜

Great! Really! Maybe they ignored the sausages because this are Wieners. Do you really use Wieners for HotDogs? 😉

I’m worried that Choppy and Schooner have suddenly lost their sense of smell. This could be a medical emergency.

It really could. Thankfully, they seemed fully capable of eating them after the photo shoot, so I think we don’t need a medical intervention yet.

Because they’re not cooked, with ketchup and onions, in a bun! 🙂

That was pretty smart if that’s what they did.

If recent experience is any indication, just turn your back for a second and see if they still stay as laissezfaire. 😇

I highly doubt they could be trusted!

If I may let out my inner Stephen King here for a moment: I think they had something even more tasty in their mind by the looks of it 😉
