And if you get close to him while he is napping, you will know why you let him alone in this situation.
In his defense, I know a lot of people who would react in a similar matter to being awoken.

Wish there was Choppy’s pic kept in Schooner’s sight on the couch!! Either Schooner yawns away to glory, or will never step on to that couch again.. :-O

Oh, that would be good – perhaps we should get a picture of Choppy to put near Schooner!

Schooner knows you’re there……he has a right to sleep…he’s a Cat.

And he has a right to sleep 99% of the day – at least in his own mind!

It’s a poor choice to disturb the house panther. Happy 💤 Schooner.

A very poor choice – one which everyone else in the house has discovered the hard way!

Schooner and I would have the reaction to being woken up. 🙂

Hahah Fraggy is funny. Never ever disturb a Feline sleeping, the # 1 rule in this felines house:)

I think it’s the #1 rule in the homes of most with kitties!

Schooner, as all kiddos are, best behaved while sleeping! 🙂 🙂

That’s for sure – unfortunately, I think he’s using the naps to save up energy to be even more energetic when he wakes up.

He has his moments (usually when he is calm and sleeping, as opposed to scratching up the furniture).

A bed on a chair! So classy. So regal. I’m impressed by how Schooner has you trained.

Nothing less than the best for our little prince(ss). He truly does have us trained. Choppy is wondering why she only gets a blanket on top of her bed, as opposed to a bed on top of a bed.

Maybe the saying should be “Letting sleeping CATS lie.

It would be far more appropriate – with Choppy, she’s just thrilled someone is paying attention to her. You aren’t going to have any adverse effects from waking her up!

LOL Totally understand, even though I sometimes get the stinky eye when I wake Tippy up early.
