I’m pretty sure Choppy thinks hamburgers come from the magical place I go and procure food (read: the grocery store). Well, there, or the drive-thru.

Maybe if the hamburgers “came out somewhere”, people wouldn’t eat them 😹

Ha! That could be.

And it is those black and white cows that produce milk coffee, right? 😉

And the brown ones: definitely chocolate milk!

I forgot – those are the ones who make the chocolate milk! Which are the ones who make chocolate mousse?

And chocolate milk, depending on how old they are.

Schooner, you just wait until a cow passes by and you hack off a bit of meat, take the skin off, mince it and make hamburger meat. In a perfect world, you’d let it hang and age, but I know you’re a hangry cat!

Ha! Something tells me Schooner would be headed in the exact opposite direction of the cow if ever she saw one in person.

Once, as I was bringing in groceries from car to house, Herbie located a package of ground beef and had a dream come true. His greasy beard said it all.

Choppy lives in constant hope of something like this happening. She also attempts to encourage it to happen by sitting in the most inconvenient places possible.

I think hamburgers are grown in gardens. The buns, however, magically appear after cooking the burgers. I hope this comment doesn’t discredit the nutrition information I share with fellow readers. 🙂

Well, many children here already believe that milk comes from the carton boxes, they don’t know that in truth it comes from cows. 😉 That’s no joke!

I’m sure it’s the same here – well, maybe not where I live (in the middle of dairy country), but in the rest of the country!

I’m sure they’re not the only ones who wonder about it – many kids don’t know either! 😂

It always amuses me. Two of my nieces and one of my nephews were visiting this last weekend, and they wanted to dress up Choppy. They definitely picked out this outfit as one of the ones to dress up Choppy in.

Schooner, I’m not sure you would want the “hamburgers” that come out of Choppy Cow. 😉 When I was little, we had some cousins visit from the Chicago area. At the time, we had cows that we milked and then pasteurized some of it for us to keep and drink and sold the rest. My cousins wouldn’t drink it because: “We don’t drink cow’s milk. We only drink milk from the store.” and this was at least 50 years ago!

Oh, that’s too funny! I guess not much has changed about city kids and their knowledge of where things come from!
