Very! I am going to try to balance something large on her head later this evening for a post later in the week. We’ll see how that goes…

Flip flops are mutifunctional! My 2 10 year old kitties have used my 3 pairs of LLBean flip flops and a nice pair from Whole Foods, as something to chomp on. Permanent marks. Now my grand daughter (2 3/4 years) mentions it every time I see her (multiple times a week) 😹

Ha! Choppy ate two flip flops as a puppy (of course, from different pairs). Our currently not working air conditioner’s outside unit is, for some reason unknown to us, held up in part by a flip flop. I’m going to request that when they install the new one on Wednesday that they not use footwear as part of the installation.

She might take after me – a shoe lover!

Whoa…that quite the balancing act. Sam couldn’t do that, he has a pointed head in more ways than just physically pointed. 😉

Choppy is pretty good at it, but I’ve definitely seen some dogs who are much better at it than she is!

We call them thongs here Choppy. We wear them on our feet in Summer. I hope though Choppy we don’t see you wearing what you might call a thong over there across the big pond.

Not so sure I want to check the internet if there is a “Thong Day” (no emoji, yet, for that 😹😮🙈)

Oh come on Alice, you know you want to 🤣😂😳

“Want to” & “doing” are two different actions. I’m exercising restraint & succeeding. 😁

Think of how amusing Choppy would look! (Because, clearly, I’m not getting a thong on Schooner.)

Haha, it’s not worth the scars.

We used to call them thongs when I was a kid – I don’t know when thong got an entirely different meaning over here, but it certainly has it now!

Wow, that’s news. I never knew they were called thongs there too. I always assumed in the USA a thong was an undergarment.

It is now – I don’t think that was universal, even 20-30 years ago. We certainly thought of thongs as shoes when I was a kid, but I would always think of them as underwear now.

…and the more and more we’re exposed to American popular culture, I see underwear described as thongs. I’d prefer the underwear was called butt floss and the footwear left as thongs 😂

Butt floss – nice. I hadn’t heard that one in a while!

I heard a really funny story yesterday, sadly I can’t share it publicly.

Great job at balancing that flip flop Choppy! Hope you got some bacon for that!

No bacon, but definitely a treat!

Awe Choppy. What you’ll do for a treat….

Pretty much anything – though I tried to balance a pineapple on her head yesterday and she was not into that!

Great job Choppy, I don’t think I could do that. 🙂

Perhaps if someone offered you your favorite food, you’d be more inclined to try!

Choppy looks so focused on not dropping the flip flop.

She wants to make sure she gets that treat!
