Welcome to the first of the new Dog Blog Challenge posts! Like I mentioned last week, to try to keep these more interesting, I’m going to only do the posts once per week (but rest assured, we’re getting our daily walks in). Now that we’re on Year 2, we’re still doing our daily 1+ mile walks. We’ve added a second component, which is to average two miles per day. We did well on Week 1 – we got plenty of extra miles in, to save up for when the weather turns cold and the last thing we want to do is spend even one extra minute outside.

Thanks! We’ve had nice, sunny weather most of the week this week, so we’re racking up extra miles to stash for those winter months when we won’t be averaging two miles a day!

Love the idea of keeping stats. I’m walking Maggie round the Avenue at least three times a day, including one figure of eight walk, plus up into town, so hopefully I am keeping up with my 3 miles plus a day.

The stats really help me stay motivated – so does putting it on the Internet. It’s one thing to fail when I’m the only one who knows, but it’s a whole different thing to fail when others are watching!

That’s how I feel about Slimming World! Can’t run and hide or kid myself when putting the word out there!

Thank you – and Choppy will enjoy a hug! She has had a busy day so far, so she will get it when she wakes up from a very sound sleep next to me.

Great job! Love the quote. It’s an excellent idea to get some extra miles in while the weather is nice.

I have this hope that we’ll get so many that I only need to do a one mile walk every day in winter. Unlikely, but a gal can hope!
