Look how perfectly posed Choppy is in both the picture and the outtake. I don’t think she even flinched. Schooner is ready for Cinco de Meow-o.

Choppy is really good at the posing. This hat is actually too big for her, so she has to balance it to keep it from falling off of her head. It keeps her even more still than normal!

Happy Cinco de Mayo! Love this, though Choppy looks kinda “all dressed up to visit grandma and not that happy about it”.
I’d never heard of Cinco de Mayo before yesterday; Mexican history and culture doesn’t really register in the collective NZ consciousness.

Well, most people here in the States have no idea what we’re celebrating – we just know it’s an excuse to have margaritas and a good time while partaking of some delicious food!
