Aw, he’s adorable! 🙂
So what big celebration are you planning for Day 365? Will Choppy wear a costume?? 🙂

I have no idea! I have sort of had it in the back of my mind that we should do something, but now it’s really close and I need to come up with something sooner rather than later!

Clearly, bacon must be involved!

Why is he laying on that bumpy remote when there is a cushy couch and pillow right there? Silly cat. I think he may be begging for a tummy rub? Or is it just a trap so he can ambush you with his claws when you try?

Oh, definitely a trap – you try it, you face the wrath of Schooner.

You’ve done great with this challenge. Don’t let the one with the cute tummy tell you otherwise. Will there be a second year?

Thank you! I have waffled on whether to continue on. On the one hand, if I continue, it means I can’t really take a day off easily – it sort of becomes an expectation that the walks will happen. On the other hand, without the challenge, I’m not sure I would continue on. It’s easy to fall back on not taking long walks, and Choppy needs them (me too, probably).

Maybe you could turn the challenge into a miles/week challenge wherein you walk whenever you want, keep track of your mileage, then present your photos + mileage in a much anticipated weekly post? A thought…

That’s a good idea – it would also be easier than the daily posts!

More than once I’ve thought it would be pretty awesome to be able to trade places with her.

That is such a cute pic of Schooner. 🙂 Schooner resembles my cat, Taylor who passed away 6 months ago with cancer. That is exactly how Taylor would lay down, all snuggled and comfy 🙂

Oh, I’m sorry about Taylor – it’s amazing how something like this can so thoroughly remind you of another pet. I saw a dog yesterday that just moved exactly like the dog we had growing up.

Thank you Sarah 🙂 Yes, it really is amazing. Our pets are so special.
