I wonder why cats are so hostile? Just still semi-wild?

Choppy’s a poet, and she doesn’t even know it!
As for Schooner the semi-wild, there is a theory that cats aren’t truly domesticated, because you can let them out in the wild and they can immediately survive without human aid. Dogs, on the other hand? Not so much.

Yes this is true, but dogs have been with us for so many more centuries; they do rely on us more. 🙂

Choppy, you had your chance to put Schooner in that egg and send him away. You could have replaced him with a puppy.

Choppy is much more adept at writing her haiku, as we expect good behavior from her! 🙂

Schooner does not have a future in poetry. It’s probably good, as they would become even more competitive than they already are.

Great Haiku, Choppy! I can see Schooner putting his paws in his ears and screaming, in cat, “I’m not listening. I’m not listening!” LOL
