It looks like Choppy is going to take Schooner out for a walk. And yes, Schooner has a stroller. I’ll get some footage of us walking him in it sometime so you can see why everyone on our block probably thinks I’m crazy (not that he walks very often – I think so far he has really just sat in it while we are outside, so he can enjoy the outdoors with us).
😂😂😂 that’s just hilarious! But good for him to get fresh air 🙂

He does like it – he always wants to go outside (he tries to sneak out all the time), so it works well for that.

OMG, this I hafta see. Schooner looks curious about what’s going to happen. And Choppy? Her usual good-girl pose. Too cute. 🙂

Schooner has been outside in it – he seems to enjoy the chance to enjoy nature from outside. His little nose sniffs a mile a minute!

Actually very caring of you, Sarah! My daughter has a pack, to take her small parroty bird for walks. Now that she has a 2 1/2 year old daughter, she’s too busy with her, to also deal w/ the bird.

Having a bird with you would be like having a second toddler along – perhaps it is best to wait until the daughter gets a little bigger and is less toddler-y!

😹 Train Choppy to stand on her hind legs & push the stroller.

I don’t know if we want to do that – who knows where Choppy would take Schooner!

Love the stroller! 😀
My daughter has walked her cat. It goes better off lead, when the cat walks several paces behind them. as if dis-owning them! 🙂

Ha! I don’t think we could do that with Schooner – he’d be off and running ASAP!

We had a cat flap for ours. It was fun trying to teach them how to use it. (Picture John down on his knees banging his head against the flap…..)

Oh, just the picture of that in my mind is hilarious!

OMG, I had no idea there was such a thing – too cute! Great way to get him some fresh air and stay safe, too.

He doesn’t mind it – I unzipped it and he stuck around in there for a while before getting bored and going to look at something else. I think he likes getting outside, too.

Um, does Paul know he’s married to a lady who pushes her cat around in a stroller?

He bought me the stroller!

Ha, does that mean, secretly Paul wants to push Schooner around the neighbourhood?
LikeLiked by 1 person
He might – we’ll have to see if he starts taking Schooner out when I am doing other things. If he does, Choppy will be jealous.

Paul will then have to write guest posts on his walks with Schooner!

So cute. Wonder if Choppy would play “Where’s Schooner?” and hope you couldn’t find him?

Probably!

And practical (though people who think I am crazy might not agree with that).

I do not think you are crazy – I have seen cats walked on leases as well. Great Post Sarah, I like the stroller. 🙂

I don’t think Schooner would stand for the leash – so the stroller it will have to be!

That is adorable for Schooner. He seems really good in it ! And he doesn’t try and get out? 🙂

Nope – he seems to like it in there. He must feel protected.

I can guess that a leash on Schooner didn’t work out and that’s why he got his own ride. 😉
I watch a vlogger couple that have 2 cats that will actually walk without leashes and stay within a few feet of them on walks. That’s pretty rare IMO.

As Schooner doesn’t even get to go outside on his own, we won’t be trying the cat walks without a leash (or stroller) any time soon.

That is a perfect way to fulfill Schooner’s curiosity!! So cute and I would never laugh since I have suggested this to my friend Jenny. She has two calico barn cats Andi think they might like a stroll! 🙂

Schooner does seem to like it – at least it gets him out of the house (and it keeps me from having to put a leash on him, which I have tried – it does not end well for me).

I would think Schooner loves to get outside while also being in such a “controlled” environment. Putting a leash on him probably makes the lampshade fitting look like a walk in the park. 🙂

You can say that again! Holy cow, he doesn’t like the leash. You’d think he would see that it’s OK, what with Choppy wearing one all the time, but definitely no.
