Love how the balloon looks juxtaposed against the pond. Random things like that make me happy. Life, and amusement, is in the details!

It is! I was kind of hoping I would find a message on the other end of the balloon. We used to tie them to balloons as kids, and I always wanted someone to find mind and send me something. It never happened for me, but it would be awesome to make it happen for someone else.

You have a deadly fear of balloons? Choppy would have you know that they are actually really, really awesome and fun to play with – and when they pop, they scare the cat half to death. And Choppy thinks that is awesome.

There was a movie years ago called ‘Message in a bottle’ for some reason the balloon reminded me of that – but of course no message in the balloon….

I love Goldfinches! They are so vibrant in their mating plumage. Finding random things on walks make them exciting.

We are lucky to have a lot of them around us – I always love seeing those little yellow darts flying around.
