They both do some of it – though Choppy is not as good as many dogs. She knows full well more food is likely to head her way, so no need to lick up all the little crumbs. She can just wait for the big pieces!
And Choppy would probably do some housework, if I could teach her how. After all, there would definitely be a big treat involved at the end of it, and nothing motivates Choppy like a treat!
They look adorable but don’t seem to be cleaning too much. My first lab was my kitchen vacuum when I had small children. I never had to pick up even so much as a stray cheerio with him hanging out by the high chairs.
There’s a week dedicated to cleaning?! I’m not much for holidays in general, and this one in particular seems like one that I need to avoid! Although Choppy does look most saucy in her maid’s outfit…
Perhaps I would like cleaning more if it came with a cute outfit (not this one, mind you, just something cute). Though in reality, I would probably just sit around in the cute outfit and claim I was cleaning. After all, if you’re in the outfit, you’re halfway there.
Oh, I would love to have a maid! And you don’t want to hire these two. For whatever food they may clean off of the floor, they leave a lot of hair around.
Yes, for those two they’re celebrating the day knowing others clean up after them. Maybe they’ll show their appreciation by making less of a mess in the future? (Highly doubtful…but one can hope!)
I’ve seen dogs who do wipe their feet! Choppy is a post-poop grass kicker, so I think I could teach her to do it. And yet, I have never gotten around to it.
So adorable as always

Clearly, from here they are headed straight for the vacuum and laundry.

Good help is so hard to find! 😉
At least Schooner takes care of the flies and spiders ,and ‘dusts’ under the furniture. 😀

I have to think of it like that – and Choppy manages to make short work of many things that fall on the floor!

Everyone doing their part, many paws make light work. ;D

OMG how cute are they 😀 😀 😀

Not as cute as they would be if they actually started cleaning and not just wearing the maid clothes!

Please, send them over!

Don’t let them fool you – they only wear the clothes, they don’t do the work!

Very cute – I am not sure about these two, but Roxy certainly cleans the floor when there are food crumbs involved! 🙂

Schooner’s duster look like a larger version of his tail tip! 😹 Choppy looks ready to do some housework! Dust bunnies, watch out!

So if I ever get a housekeeper, I’ll offer: “Bacon 🥓 🥓🥓🥓 served after you clean.” Then everyone will be knocking the doors down. 😹

Just hope that those who show up are better at the job than these two who would work for bacon!

Yes, if only they’d help out around the house. I’m pretty sure I spend at least 2 hours a day cleaning because of them! But oh the hugs they give! 🙂

It does seem like a one way cleaning situation in our house as well!

Haha, at first I thought Schooner had a toilet brush rather than a feather duster.

Ha! That would have been a good one. I may have to save that nugget for a future post!

They are much better at making messes than cleaning them up. They have limited cleaning abilities.

She and I feel the same way about cleaning – it’s not our favorite thing to do!

I love a clean house, but hate to clean. If I w.in the lottery, my first purchase will be to get a maid. Maybe I could hire these two.

Tippy does too. I think I need to buy stock in lint rollers. LOL

The costumes were adorable and so funny, too. Of course, they aren’t going to clean!! 😀 Lol

Definitely not – they make a lot more messes than they take care of!
