Day 312 was probably the windiest day this year we have walked – there were branches everywhere, garbage bins blown over (because of course it’s windy on garbage day), and just general windy mayhem. Not to worry, though – we got out there and just dealt with it. Mother Nature is not thwarting us now! (Note to Mother Nature: Please don’t send any more cold weather, because that might thwart us.)

They are really cute, though, so the picture doesn’t have to be related. It was windy here yesterday too. Today is marvelous, so far. But, it’s supposed to snow over the weekend. Crazy weather!

We are thwarted with windy weather here too, it’s mighty bonkers and things are blowing about all over the place! Still, the sun is out so that’s the pay off 🙂

It’s kind of gray and miserable here today – but the wind finally stopped blowing, so it’s less miserable than it could be!

Wintry – I guess I should expect it, as it is winter in Wisconsin. I just got used to that warm weather so quickly when it was (briefly) here.

Gorgeous day in the mid-60’s here. Flowers blooming. Grass growing. Chance of light snow in a couple days. We’re all just along for the ride. Or in your case the walk. It is also so true wind knows when recycling day is.

Good job, you two are so brave to walk in the wind. I went out to get the mail from the box the other day and thought the wind was going to blow me to MO. lol We usually don’t have wind here but during storms. The last couple of years or so though we have had some pretty strong windy days. I don’t think I would enjoy walking in the wind Chancy wouldn’t care though if the wind was blowing. Choppy doesn’t usually care about the wind, but the last couple days there were a few moments where Choppy seemed to be wondering whether this walk in the wind was really worth it.

I have a favorite book from when my kids were little about the twelve months on a farm. The passage for March begins, “MARCH is a windy month…” I always think of that book every March because it is true!

Oh, that is certainly true here, too! I like to think it’s blowing in the warmer weather (I have to ignore the days when it blows in snow for this belief).
