Choppy: so patient and eager to please. Schooner…not so much.

Such restraint!

Patience is easier when there is the promise of not one but three biscuits!

Poor Choppy gets no respect!

At least not when it comes from Schooner!

Don’t be a spoilt sport, Schooner. It takes great control to do what Choppy is doing. Not so much the balancing but the resisting eating the biscuits thing.

It’s restraint that Schooner probably can’t exercise!

If it was a few pieces of Bacon, I wonder how much restraint Choppy would have…..gulp! 😹😮

Well, there’s a reason we’re using dog biscuits here instead of something tastier (like bacon!).

Good job Choppy. For once, though, I think Tippy is in agreement with Schooner. I’m pretty sure she would have none of that. Those biscuits would be gone in a split second.

It’s just Choppy’s patient nature showing through. Now, if those had been cat treats on Schooner, there would be a different ending to this!

Such a great day – Dog Biscuit Day! 🙂

It’s a holiday Choppy loves – even if I make her pose before getting the dog biscuits!

hahaha Lovely! 😀
What Choppy won’t do for a biccie! 🙂

There is very little she won’t do for one – I can probably name the few things she won’t do on one hand (including one that I wish she would do – hold something in her mouth to pose for a picture. I should really work with her on that, even if it’s just to prove you can teach an old dog new tricks!).

haha Go or it! 🙂 Choppy won’t mind all the extra treats while she learns! 🙂

So very cute!! Choppy is the dog and Scoopy is the cat?

Thanks! And you have it right – Choppy is the dog, Schooner is the cat. Choppy has been around here a long time, but Schooner has about 15 months put in around here.

Hahaha I must say I can’t imagine any of my cats doing what Choppy is doing! Maybe its a cat thing 🙂

Oh, Schooner would never do it, either! It must be a cat thing (though I suspect a lot of dogs wouldn’t do it, either).

Wow. My dog would never do that. Lol

Choppy is amazingly patient if she knows there will be a treat at the end of whatever I am making her do.

And mine is just about the opposite. Lol

Haha Clever Choppy, and wise Schooner, though I’m quite liking the Scoopy Monika 😀 😀

My childhood pup use to let us put food on his nose and he’d wait patiently until we gave the OK command. My current pup, not so much!

Choppy will do it with most things, though there are a few things she likes just too much to allow us to put them on her!

Now that is patience!

It’s somewhat amazing – especially because Choppy really, really likes treats.

You’re right, I never expect Schooner to do anything quite like that. 🙂

I have hopes for him in terms of dressing up, but I do know where to draw the line in terms of training him. This is beyond that line!
