This week’s “Where’s Choppy?” post is inspired by a comment from Lynn earlier this week about where Choppy and Schooner are looking/going behind the camera. You can see from the picture that they have a view of the cul-de-sac from where they sit on the red couch, which is in the foreground. That said, I won’t tell you if Choppy is on the couch for the picture – but I will tell you that Schooner is not supposed to be on that coffee table!

The weekly instructions and warning:
Choppy is somewhere in the photo below. We will post an answer on Monday so you can see if you are correct in your guess as to her location. In the meantime, if you don’t want to know where she is, do not go look at the comments. They are full of answers. And poor guesses. But mostly answers. The people who comment here are excellent at this game.

Schooner, like most cats, likes to be on surfaces that they are not “supposed” to be on, but obviously enjoy being on, because they like to “own” spaces. Choppy is closest to the Cul de Sac 🙂 Good hide, Choppy!

Choppy likes to be on those surfaces as well – but at least she is polite enough to only do it when we aren’t home and she is in charge!

Nice coffee table – no wonder Schooner lays claim to it. 🙂
And yep, spotted Choppy this time 🙂

It’s very cool – it belonged to my Grandma. It’s a hand-painted piece with Asian scenes on it. I really love it.

Oh awesome; even has a family history. 🙂

A lot of my furniture does – it turns out, I seem to just inherit pieces from others (/am cheap and therefore am happy to take pieces off of family and friends when they no longer want them).

Well I envy you – since I live 6000 miles away from family, it wasn’t possible to inherit any furniture. I still miss a dark wood corner wall cabinet with glass doors. Sigh!

She’s near or behind the brown chair. 🙂 What a great, and most likely entertaining, view Choppy has from her couch perch!

She seems to love it. There isn’t as much traffic as when we lived across the street from the park, but plenty happens to keep her attention (plus, now she has the giant backyard to call her own!).

I do believe I see a bit o’ Choppy! (Let me guess…Schooner was told to hide as well)

You can tell/ask Schooner to do anything. It is rare he listens to you!

Tough one, but I got that unmistakable tail.

The tail is what I look for but I don’t always find dear Choppy! The interior photo looks comfy and warm, Sarah! 🙂

Much warmer than outside, that’s for sure!

It is going to be warm tomorrow, 60 degree high on Tuesday. 🙂

And we were happy to hit 34 here today (it rained and apparently it is now an ice slick on our cul-de-sac – I am going to slip and slide on the walk tomorrow, if I brave it outside. It may be another indoor walk for me, so I don’t break a leg!).
