Things at which I am failing: trying not to look at next week’s cold and snowy weather forecast.

Who: Sarah & Choppy
Next up: a video of Choppy’s day in fast forward. Today, it includes Schooner scratching the couch. We took down the foil that had been protecting it over Thanksgiving. I guess I know what is going back up!
I would swear Choppy knows she’s on camera, lol.

Oh, wait until you see the video from today. You’ll think it even more!

I saw that and thought oh no!

The worst part? I completely forgot to put it up still! I was so busy last night it completely slipped my mind, so it remains uncovered.

I love that little Tango that Choppy did with Schooner and then the duo turn around with Choppy on the couch and Schooner on the window. I can’t believe you’ve got me hooked on those two but hey love is love. I’m a fan! 😉

Yay! It is fascinating to watch them – I am mostly interested in their interactions when we are gone. I think they run off in this video together, like something suddenly caught both their interest.

Hilarious! Can you post about this camera you’re using? I’d love to have fun with one of these!

I see you’ve moved the camera position – after Schooner attacked it!
So funny to watch these two and see Choppy clearly aware the camera is still running even in the dark. 🙂

He has left it alone so far in the new position! We’ll see how long that lasts.
I wonder if the camera makes some sort of noise, because she clearly looks at it regularly, and there is nothing else she would be looking at where it sits in the new position.

I’m sure the camera makes a noise quite audible to your pets 🙂 – but at least it’s being left alone – so far. 🙂

Uhoh better put that tin foil back on the sides of the couch..We have a scratching post but the cats enjoy the furniture much better.

It’s like a magnet for Schooner! He has so many appropriate places to scratch – you can even see one of his scratching posts on the far side of the couch (not to mention the cat tree in the background or his other scratching pads around the house). And yet, this is what he wants to scratch, along with all the furniture in my office.

It’s a cat thing..I am not sure why we spend so much money on cat furniture when they like ours better!

Maybe train Schooner to scratch Choppy’s itches instead of the sofa 🙂

If I can figure out how to do that, you can just start referring to me as the cat whisperer.

At least they don’t seem to fight much.

They don’t – usually they just have little squabbles that are over something specific, like Schooner bites Choppy’s tail too hard when he’s playing with it.
