Yeah, the last couple days have been extremely windy – I think winter is blowing it.
As for the metal thing, I’m not sure what you mean – the camera is on a wooden buffet, so that’s the shine to the left of the screen (and you can glimpse a couple wine glasses). The shiny metal ball that has been on the ground is a cat toy. They’re colorful foil balls and Schooner loves them (he probably has 30 of them, most of which are under a piece of furniture at any given time).

It’s the light reflection on the wooden buffet. The shinny light made it look like metal. Nice wine classes. I think we have some that look a little like that that we got for our wedding. And yes the toys-under-furniture situation–same this end: tennis balls, bones, etc. 🙂

Choppy is pretty good with her toys under things – namely because the moment she loses something, she starts whining and who should come running but yours truly to help her out. Of course, knowing I am a sucker, she doesn’t even try to get things out most of the time, even when it is clear a small amount of effort on her part would result in success.
