Day 203 looks like it might be the last warm weather walk of the year – from here on out, the ‘challenge’ part becomes a real challenge!
Date: November 18, 2016
Location: Home
Length: 1.3 Miles
Who: Sarah & Choppy
And now, Schooner’s day in fast forward.
Haha Schooner going up and down his perch. And all that exertion tugging on the white cord. Okay then so are we going to be deprived of “Where’s Choppy?” I can’t bear it. You’ll have to find places in your house!!! Have a great weekend. 🙂

Oh, ‘Where’s Choppy?’ will continue all winter – it just gets more difficult for me to find spots! Last winter we did a fair number in the house. They can be surprisingly difficult!

Oh good! I love seeing photos of your great house. Looks so charming and rustic from what I can tell. 🙂

Some of it is – some of it is not – it’s sort of a house with multiple personalities!

Schooner certainly enjoys his “kitty condo” 😄

He does! He doesn’t seem to spend nearly as much time on it when we are at home, though. I guess, despite what I sometimes think, he does like to be around us!

I’m always hoping the warmish weather lasts and lasts and lasts. Hopefully it’s not too challenging for a while yet.

I think our warm weather is gone – we got snow yesterday. That’s never a good sign.

Day in the life! Cats sleep or rest 85% of the day – amazing, eh? (I think I must have been a cat in a past lifetime, as I envy that behavior!) Looks like a breezy day and he has the perfect perch to view the world.

Schooner is definitely not an exception to that – even when we are home he spends most of the day sleeping (though not on the cat tree – on the couch or upstairs). The windows on the left look out at my bird feeders, so if you see him get excited about something that way, it’s usually a bird who came close to the house or who is making extra noise outside.

Bundling up is going to be necessary for the foreseeable future!

Cat’s just have the best of it, no walking challenges 🙂

At least, no walking challenges until I get him a kitty stroller!

I feel like he was sleeping most of the time! Catnapping 😆

Oh, he definitely slept most of the day – it seems to be what he does most of the time no matter what.

It’s a great one if you can swing it (/have humans to pay for it for you).

So I guess it’s true. Cats really do sleep 23 hours a day…..

Schooner certainly seems to – and he uses the other hour to act like a crazy being!

That bit in the middle when he suddenly chews on the string had me laughing out loud! 😀
Still, just confirms that cats sleep 20 hours a day! 🙂

It was hilarious – especially because he’s not playing, he’s just chewing on the thing. I do not understand cats.

Hmmmm not too much exertion happening there. Quite a bit of napping 🙂 So it really is a Cats Life 🙂
