One day until we hit six months (well, sort of – it’s not quite half a year, but if you go with thirty days a month, it is). My plan is to get some stats ready for the post tomorrow, but as the saying goes, Man plans, God laughs.

Funny enough, Day 180 has been the worst weather of any day so far that we’ve had – we didn’t go for a morning walk because it was storming (we just ran to the end of the block and back). Our afternoon one is happening, no matter what the weather. As it has yet to stop raining, I think it might be a rather unpleasant one!

The days are only going to get worse! This morning wasn’t the coldest, temperature-wise, but there was a cutting wind. Not fun!

You might need to find a wooded area where the wind isn’t so bad. Again, down or maybe you could go to Goodwill for a fur coat that will be just for walking. They cut the wind like nothing else. (Sorry PETA lovers.)

The problem with our normal walking path is that it’s the opposite of this! On a hill, lots of open fields around it. We can always stay in town, but the problem with town is that there are few sidewalks. Whoever made the decision not to require them around us is definitely not my favorite person!

I hate walking on the road with snowbanks. Makes me so nervous feeling like one swerve and I’m a pancake.

Oh, I hope the surgery went well – it sounds like it did! It has made a huge difference to everyone I know who has had it.
And I’m with you on the baseball!
