The beautiful fall weather continues here in Wisconsin – I know it can’t last forever, but it is sure nice while it does!

Aw, lovely sunbathing weather for Choppy.

It was a prefect day for it (and, unfortunately, putting away the summer things – that’s never fun).

Isn’t every day a perfect day for an afternoon nap! Ray and I both agree on that point! 🙂

Oh, I will definitely join in on agreeing on this! I just wish I had more time for naps!

One of the benefits of aging… and retiring! 🙂

True! Unfortunately, barring a lottery win, I am still a couple decades from that!

Two decades is not that far away based on the way time flies around here. In two decades I will be way past the life span of the average Canadian male! Hmmm!

Ray keeps you walking and young – the best way to get past that average life span!

Hmmm! I was kind of banking on that, but he is about 6 this year so I may have to make new plans in a decade! 😦

I try not to think about that day with Choppy!

Schooner must feel very safe with the huge cat watching over him!

Ha! That’s Creepy Cat! I got him for Paul when we got married – he is from Key West. He would definitely creep out anyone who wants to mess with Schooner.

Sun puddles are even better outside. Enjoy it while you can!

Oh, we will! They really aren’t as much fun when you’re stuck inside and lying on the carpet to enjoy them!

I wish I had more time to engage in this sort of non-activity!
Also, I got the seeds – thank you so much! Spring can’t come soon enough!

Glad to hear it. You can plant some now if it is easier, you just have to mark where you put them so they don’t get removed in the spring! 😉 Since they are reliable for me, I don’t bother with spring planting anymore, I just pluck and move seedlings when they come up.

I’m not going to have much time this fall – I think they will all go in this spring. I’m looking forward to it – I have a perfect place for them!

Grass nap. The next best thing to a street nap.
Love and licks,

Where does sidewalk nap rank?

I liked the room for people naps, Sarah. The dog, Choppy, snoozing in the sunny grass was precious.

She loves to nap in the sun – she usually naps in the front yard because it is sunnier. Even though it isn’t fenced, I let her out there regularly because she obviously loves it (and thankfully has yet to give me a reason not to!).

Looks like a wonderful day to be out and about.

It really was! Unlike today, which is cold and rainy – not a good day for a walk!

At what point do we not need any more character? I’m hoping soon.
