Our morning walk was postponed thanks to a thunderstorm – we grabbed 20 extra minutes of sleep and by the time we did, the storm had passed and we were able to get the walk in. I think it was a win for everyone involved!

We had an unforecast torrential downpour yesterday afternoon complete with thunder and lightning. I haven’t been walking as much over the past week as we’ve been away, but I’m getting back into my stride again quite quickly.

Excellent! And even without the walking, it sounds like you had a good weight loss week!

I did indeed. Hopefully I can keep it up and hit my second target at the end of this 12 week course.

It’s very green here still – we never really had a dry part of the summer!

She is always happy on her walks (though this morning our walk got cut short because of asphalt paving – still got just over a mile in, but someone had to stay on her leash the whole time, which she never likes).

I love the little brown patches onCoppy’s face. From a distance, I think they could be mistaken for eyes.

There’s nothing like being outside right after a rainstorm – perfect for a dog walk! Choppy looks pleased 🙂

Yipes, I somehow missed these walk-abouts. Looks like you had fun nonetheless and were able to stay dry. Win-win! 🙂

It was! Though we did get rained on later in the week. Ah, well – we lived! A little water isn’t going to hurt us!

Tell that to Sam! He’s convinced he’ll melt.

If I could explain that concept to a dog, I think I would be rich – there are a ton of them who don’t like to go out during the rain!
