No snakes for Day 112! We managed to get in two walks in between rain storms that we got all day and didn’t get wet at all – definitely a win!
Walk One:
Date: August 19, 2016
Location: Home
Length: 1.3 Miles
Who: Sarah & Choppy
Walk Two:
Date: August 19, 2016
Location: Home
Length: 1.3 Miles
Who: Sarah & Choppy
hahaha Glad you didn’t get wet. Where are you going to walk once they get that road completed?

We’re not sure they’re completing the gravel road – it’s an access road that they are using to stage construction on a larger road where we walk as well. Once that larger road is finished, it will be better than before for walking – it didn’t used to have a bike lane, but now it will!

That sounds great. I was afraid you’d be loosing your walking trail.

Hopefully not – thankfully, we’d still have some good ones nearby if we do. I’m going to hope it doesn’t go away, though!

At least you got the walks in…I am with Schooner, I don’t do rain 🙂 (rain will make my hair curl, what is Schooner’s excuse?)

I think Schooner relies on his species’ long hatred of water as his excuse.

Choppy looks quite keen to get on with her walk. Schooner? King of the castle! 🙂

I’m never moving fast enough for Choppy – except when she finds a particularly good smell, in which case I want to move too fast for her!

I like Schooner’s closed eyes, how did you manage to sneak up on him? xo

That’s the view out of my office door – he likes to sit there. I think he can keep an eye on me in my office and Paul in his or our bedroom from there. At least, he can keep an eye open when he isn’t falling asleep!
