The Dog Walk Challenge continues! Day 102 dawned pleasant and ended humid. I had hoped we were past that weather. Hopes are officially dashed – though I would much rather have the warmer weather than the cold!
Walk One:
Date: August 9, 2016
Location: Home
Length: 1.3 Miles
Who: Sarah & Choppy
Walk Two:
Date: August 9, 2016
Location: Home
Length: 1.3 Miles
Who: Sarah, Paul and Choppy
We’re in for a stretch of hot, humid weather through the weekend as well. The cool respite was well appreciated, however.
Glad you’re continuing the walk challenge both for you and Choppy. Great sunset shot with the long shadows.
Cats do love containers…you must have to be careful with plastic bags! We get small, shallow boxes from the grocery store for ours. Throw in a catnip toy and they’re blissed. 😉

Oh, that box idea is great – Schooner would love it.
He seems uninterested in plastic bags, at least around me. We do keep them all in the same place, though, so he doesn’t get much of a chance to interact with them. Unless, of course, they are holding garbage, in which case he is very interested – in the garbage. Which we then find strewn about the house.

What a mischief maker he is! I’m glad he doesn’t like plastic bags, they can be dangerous. 😦

Boxes are definitely a cat thing! Choppy looks happy 🙂

I don’t think Choppy would ever go in one voluntarily – but you can’t keep Schooner out!

Cat on a box! Classic 🙂
And I love how Choppy stands sideways to the sun to catch all the rays, which is exactly what LM does in winter. 🙂
Also, Every mountain has to be explored 🙂
PS Well done on continuing the dog walks 🙂

Your comment of Choppy’s stance reminded me of a random thing I figured out for taking her picture (in case it ever comes in handy for you) – I couldn’t figure out why she didn’t like looking at me sometimes on our walks, as she almost always has no problem with it. Turns out, I was standing somewhere, where looking at me meant she also had to look nearly directly at the sun. Poor puppy – and she had no way to tell me.

Aw Little thing!
Our sun is usually vertically above us, so not as much of a problem. 🙂

Much better than our soon-to-be problem for picture taking: we’re going to be walking in the dark.

Oh No! You’re going to have to fit Choppy with luminous gear! 🙂

Enjoy your walks! So fun to get out in the fresh air! One of our kitties knew how to crawl under an overturned box, the 4 flaps were sticking out flat on the floor. We knew he was under there: dead give away was a long, white, front leg sticking out from a corner. 😂 South of Boston it has been raining, at last for a few hours. So needed!

We were in desperate need here, and a storm just blew through!
And I love when animals think they are hiding well, but something gives them dead away – kids as well!

Choppy looks a little hot in the last pic. My cat loves boxes of any kind and size as well, the problem is she doesnt get that she wont fit in every box. The hot weather usually last thru our state fair, then hopefully cooler temps.

She is definitely not enjoying our warm weather this summer – she much prefers cooler temperatures. Not that the temps keep her from walking, though!
