I suggest treats. And toys. And patience.
A rather high pain tolerance helps as well, for those times when the cat really doesn’t want to pose!

Do you get it off? We have far too few days off during the summer. Up in Canada, some of the provinces have an August holiday – I think the U.S. should consider one.

I can definitely get behind this – though not the eating books part! Fairly sure Choppy knows better than that though…..
I remember the very first time I visited one of John’s aunts one of her (appallingly behaved) dogs started chewing a book. I expressed horror and she said “Oh, it’s ok, it’s only a (insert name of popular but low-brow author)”. So the dog can tell the difference when it’s Shakespeare? I don’t think so!

I’ve got ADHD or whatever they are calling it these days. I wish I had the attention span for a story book. This is why I love WP so much. Posts are about as long as my attention span 😉

No books were actually eaten – and neither was the Kindle, which is where I read most of the time (actually, where I “read” most of the time is in the car, listening to books on tape – I would get through like ten books a year but for that).

My kind of day. All my adult life, my one consistent fantasy is to have unlimited, carefree reading time. The danged to-do list always gets in my way. 😉
