Normally, I would suggest adopting a dog, but if you’re one of the sort who (for some unknown reason) prefers feline companionship to that of the superior canine sort, it’s Adopt-a-Cat Month. What better time is there to adopt a new friend from the local shelter and save a life?

Hey Choppy Buddy! Love your sign. I don’t understand how you let it get into your home in the first place, but at least you are giving out a clear message and who knows… some fool human may well be gullible enough to take it (and thereafter live a life of servitude to it)!

Yeah, I am also #TeamDog, lol. Gosh these are so funny. Like how do you come up with all these funny things? Do you go through in advance on the calendar and plan them?

I actually do try to go through the calendar and plan. Sometimes it goes better than others (like during the April Blog Challenge). Right now, I’ve started a new system that seems to be working quite well – as you can probably see from the frequent posting!

If I could get Roxie and ZuZu to wear signs, this would be perfect. I’m not even going to tell Roxie what month it is. She’ll be putting adds in the paper offering ZuZu to the highest bidder!

Lost/able to sneak less extra food by going to the basement and eating the cat food. Choppy would probably be very upset about the latter.

They are – well, maybe not friends, but they get along. Or put up with each other. Whatever the relationship, I just am happy they aren’t trying to kill each other!

All our [remaining 5] kitties are adopted. Strays that came by or very little ones we found. And our dogs were adopted strays, too.

I feel like I should start doing more linking – I used to do a Friday/Saturday post on the things I had posted earlier in the week, but that went by the wayside at some point. I guess I got too busy on that front!
