It’s Memorial Day weekend here in the States, so hopefully we’ll get out for some nice, long walks over the next few days (and get some yard work done, though I’ll only subject you to the results of that, not the process. Then again, that might make an OK post…).

It is our backyard – there is a river beyond the pond as well, but this time of year, you can’t see it very well. It really is dog heaven (though Choppy is not supposed to be in the pond – which is far different than saying she has never been in the pond!).

They are cute at this stage – they definitely do not get more attractive as they age (well, at least until they are all grown up and look like geese – in the meantime, they go through a very awkward goose adolescence).
