I knew starting this Challenge that there were going to be a fair number of days in May where I wouldn’t be able to walk Choppy, because she is not with me for the day (thanks to a travel schedule that doesn’t allow me to bring her along). But that doesn’t mean I can’t walk myself (and wish Choppy could be with me!).

Nice walk, I am sure Choppy is missing this. Happy Day to you (and Choppy)! 🙂

She would have enjoyed it thoroughly, if only for the wildlife!

Now here’s a ‘Where’s Choppy?’ where there really is no Choppy. 🙂

Would Choppy have been in the water had she been with you this time? We’ve been lucky in that Maggie has never made any attempt to chase the ducks here or jump in the marina.

If I let her off of her leash, she might – she’s not a swimmer, but she loves to wade (she can swim, it’s just not something she usually does by choice). Thankfully, her first swimming experience came when chasing some geese (it did not go well for Choppy, suffice to say), so ducks and geese are pretty much ignored at all times.

Maggie loves to swim, but never here in the marina, which is a godsend.

Good for you to keep it up. 🙂
And I am so glad that you didn’t post these photos as a “Where’s Choppy” and have us searching forever! 🙂

Still going well! And you should all be glad it isn’t April Fools Day, or I could have gotten everyone good this time!

Oh my goodness! You really could! 😀
Just been on the slowest amble you could imagine, with old SL setting the pace – if you could even call it that!

You just need something to do while he walks – reading, listening to books – since he gives you the time to do something else!

I always do miss her when she can’t come on a walk or go somewhere – I am so used to her constant companionship, it is odd when I don’t have it!

I bet there’s a favourite place that Choppy’s curled up in so you know exactly where she is!

If I don’t know where she is, I tend to start worrying – like, at home if she’s not my shadow, I start wondering what trouble she is in (or just where she is).

That’s kind of a non-dog-walk. But it still counts as long as your girl was on your mind….

It is very much a non-dog walk – I only wish I could borrow someone else’s, so I could take a dog on these ones (if Choppy can’t be here)!

I think Pennsylvania looks like it put out the sunshine for you, Sarah! I love the river photograph! Take care and wasn’t sure if I knew if it were a business or family trip. Just ignore family references on other Sunday comments since I may have assumed family and hubby with you, along for company. Take care and hugs, Robin

The Pennsylvania part was family – Paul’s family lives out there. The Friday travel was for work. No rest for the weary!

Thanks! That’s a park just down the street from our house – it’s quite pretty, and has some sweet playground equipment.
