I wondered what S would be! I did miss the “Where’s Choppy” post. I’ll go check it out now and see if I can spot her. 🙂

I did “swimmer” last year – it was great, as it meant I didn’t have to think too hard this morning. I love the squirrel costume!

Oh, and for the sake of family harmony, I think it was very wise not to dress the cat as the squirrel.

It’s a little humiliating to have to dress like something that should be chased, right?

A dog dressed as a squirrel – now that is way too funny! 🙂

The first photo is really good – considering the attention span of Cat! 🙂
And in the second photo, Choppy’s face is so full of love. Can’t tell if it’s for you or for treats! 😀

Thank you!
And any love expressed is for treats. I have no illusions about where I fall in the hierarchy of Choppy’s love. Food is number one.

Aw Never mind – since she lurves her food so much, she must love you tons too! 😀

Schooner cracks me up! All the time!!!
My dogs would’ve tried to eat that acorn! 🙂
What is it about squirrels that drive dogs so darn crazy??

I have no idea what it is – Choppy started chasing them crazily when she was a puppy, and it continues. Just yesterday she nearly pulled me over when she saw one in the parking lot at work.

I just asked Trevor and Eos if they would like a cat to play with. They both seem quite keen.

I don’t know – it seems like fun and games, and then one day you realize it has been weeks since you’ve been able to beg for food at the table without having a cat attack you.

I can’t tell you how healthful your posts are for me – laughter is so healing! Dear, sweet Choppy, I love her face in the 2nd shot, so earnest and desiring to please. 🙂

She only wants to make me happy (/give her a treat). And I am so glad to hear your kind words about the posts – I love posting them, and it is nice to know others enjoy them.

I heard recently that the positive effects of laughter remain in the body for 24 hours. Your posts are like a vitamin! Thank you!

This is too good 🙂 Shame Choppy, is Schooner playing with your tail? but the big fluffy tail is so much better than the little one 🙂

Choppy’s tail is probably Schooner’s favorite toy of all!

Brilliant – my dog has that squirrel! Well, not THAT squirrel, of course. A similar squirrel. She is my assistance dog – she has her blog on mine. ~Liz http://www.lizbrownleepoet.com

Thank you! I wish I could take credit for the costume’s cuteness, but I just found it and bought it.

Very cute. I can only imagine the time it takes to get a good shot of both of them….even with treats.

Sometimes it’s surprisingly easy – as it was for the letter ‘T.’ Sometimes, it’s darn near impossible (like the letter ‘L’).

I believe Choppy is under the impression upon completing the alphabet, he gets the opportunity to “return the favor” by dressing you up in his choice of clothing for the next 26 days. Since the court system is famous for their sense of humor, it should provide interesting entertainment. 🙂

Except unlike Choppy and the cat, I would probably enjoy the whole thing!

Eureka! What a excellent disguise to infiltrate the ranks of the nefarious group of evil-doers known as SKVRL! Absolutely brilliant!

So far, they are not falling for it. Perhaps it is the barking that gives Choppy away for what she really is?

Choppy is one patient “big sister” to naughty Schooner! Your squirrel costume was very nicely made, Sarah! S is for you and Schooner, too!! 🙂
